The job

Practical plumbing, completed with care.

The customer could hear a hissing sound inside the wall and could smell gas. After attending promptly, the fault was traced to a badly corroded copper pipe leaking within a double-brick wall.

The damaged section was removed and new copper pipework was installed. A protective sleeve was added where the pipe passed through the wall to help isolate the new pipe from the surrounding masonry.

The completed pipework was tested for leaks before the job was signed off, restoring a safe gas supply to the property.
